Public Statement on the Golders Green Hatzalah Ambulance Attack:

In light ofthe recent antisemitic attack on Hatzalah ambulances in Golders Green, we wishto call out those who attempt to portray a wildly pernicious and disingenuouspicture, claiming that this incident is evidence of widespread tension betweenBritish Jews and their Muslim neighbors.

It is arecurring tactic for Zionists to invoke incidents of antisemitism that werecaused by them riding on the name of Jews, and then present it as “organicantisemitism,” as if it is not a backlash to their misrepresentation, whichmakes Jews vulnerable targets. Violence is never warranted, but we cannotsubject our reality to the picture Zionists are hellbent on portraying.

The realitystands in contrast to these claims. British Jews live in harmony with theirMuslim neighbors. In a letter sent today to 10 Downing Street, the UK’s leadingUnion of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations denounced the small number of agitatorswho allege that Jews and Muslims have an inherent coexistence issue, affirmingonce again the longstanding peaceful relationships enjoyed within theircommunities.

Jews,Muslims, and Christians across the United Kingdom and elsewhere continue to coexist peacefully, grounded in mutual respect and shared civic life.

We reject efforts to exploit this incident, spread fear, and weaponize antisemitism for political ends.
